This story is linked with the "Theft of the Felstone" story written by Zubin
Time was running out, Delren was already too far ahead. But Karnu ran as fast as he could, a sharp thorn off a branch scratching his face, still he ran. Until he was stopped by an old nemesis…Kalron.
Karnu stopped in his tracks, withdrew his blades and stared down the blood elf. “Time is up for you Stormshine!, you go no further”. Kalron stared coldly at him. “Yes?…you and whose army?!”. Kalron then smiled at Karnu, before he answered, he pointed behind Karnu, four blood elves armed awaiting Kalron’s order to slay the Night Elf..
“Them” ..
Karnu sighed, not because he was in danger, but because he now knows Delren had fled. This did not go down to well with Karnu.He then turned to the blood elf , “How did you live?!…oh you know what, don’t answer, your voice aggravates me!”. Kalron raised his hand, about to signal his men to slay Karnu. “Think about it Kalron!…too easy don’t you think?” Kalron lowered his hand for a moment, his men lowered their weapons once more. “Easy you say?…no, it would give me the satisfaction to finally see you die, it’s over Karnu”. Kalron raised his hand once more but before he could give the signal, Karnu quickly ran towards the blood elf, stunning him by doing so, Kalron’s life was held to ransom at the hands of Karnu…
Karnu held the gun to Kalron’s head, also using him as a shield from the Blood elf guards. “Not so easy was it?, tell them to drop their weapons or I will easily end you right now…do it!” Kalron struggled but foolishly denied Karnu’s orders. “Oh you deny me?…maybe this will convince you otherwise!”. Karnu aimed the gun to Kalron’s leg, pulled the trigger, which led the Blood elf to scream in pain. The guards began to charge, but was ordered back by the injured Kalron. “Drop your weapons!…arghhh…are you deaf?!, I said drop them!”. The guards dropped their weapons and threw them somewhere in the forest , much to the delight of the ruthless Night Elf Karnu. “This…is not over you hear?…you hear?!” Kalron wincing in pain as he issued his warning.
“You wasted my time blood elf, don’t challenge me with your tactics, go back to your lands…” Karnu threw Kalron to the ground, the blood elf screamed in pain once more as he landed hard on the ground. “Your mine Karnu! Il make sure you suffer!” Karnu aimed his gun at the elves, lowered his eyes …
“So be it”..
Karnu ran deep into the darkened forests of Tel’drassil

The Stone was lost, the thought passing through his mind. However Karnu had other problems, dealing with Blood Elves.
Karnu continued to run through the forest..
Meanwhile an injured Kalron, struggled to keep his balance grabbed a fellow Blood Elf guard ordered him and the others to hunt down the Night Elf. "I want him dead!, no excuses, no talking, dead!". The guard nodded and instructed the others to follow as they run into the forest, leaving Kalron to tend to his injuries.
Karnu hid behind a tree, waiting for the Blood Elves to pass by, preparing himself for battle. The Night Elf knew he will not leave here without a fight, may not leave here alive at all. But what he did know was, the artifact was lost and he could do nothing about it. Lost in thought for a moment could of cost him his life..
"What are you doing Elf?" asked a tall dark Night Elf. Karnu looked round to him, looking surprised yet not so pleased. "Maybe i should ask you the same thing!". The Elf smiled and stood away from Karnu "Well here is me thinking your here to visit!, my older half brother!" Karnu again showed signs of disappointment as the Elf spoke. "I can't talk now Jafeth, leave me be". The young hunter looked unimpressed with Karnu, but could tell that his older half brother was in trouble. "I heard a gunshot before, sounded like someone got hurt, what's happening Karnu?". Karnu peered at Jafeth before looking into the forest, with his gun in hand. "Make yourself useful boy, were going hunting and don't ask questions just do i as i ask". The young hunter looked confused but followed Karnu's instruction. "Ok, does this mean your teaching me?" Karnu sighed and quickly turned to Jafeth with his reply "When you see a Blood Elf, what do you do?!" but before Jafeth could answer, Karnu quickly replied "Kill , every single one of them without a care in the world got it?, good lesson over, move!"...
Karnu had to think fast, the guards were near. Although Jafeth was attending, he still considered this to be a disadvantage, but not for long. The ruthless kaldorei smiled at Jafeth before asking "When you see a Blood Elf, shoot him and run, i got you covered, you have my word".. Jafeth looked nervous with his instructions, but did as he was told. He stood still with his bow arrow pointing in the direction where eventually a Blood Elf would appear, and he did so. Jafeth quickly released the arrow, successfully piecing through the Blood Elf's neck and quickly ran, with the Blood Elves chasing!..
Karnu grinned once more,but now it was time help his young half brother. The guards stopped for a moment, the leader giving out orders "Split up, seems Stormshine thinks he is clever, we shall use this forest to our advantage!". The guards nodded and split up into the forest. Meanwhile Jafeth still running as fast as he could, not quite understanding what else he was mean't to do except run, just like Karnu ordered. A guard was still chasing, he looked and spotted Jafeth, he smiled then stopped,aimed his bow arrow towards the Night Elf, just about to shoot, but suddently he dropped his arrow, stunned as he fell to the ground, blood poured onto his hands, coming from the throat. Karnu stood over him with a cold stare, one Blood Elf guard had fallen. "Two to go"..

Karnu picked up the guard's bow and started to run on in order to catch up with Jafeth. The young hunter stopped running, assuming the two Blood Elf guards had lost him.He scouted round the open area, he could see no one, he sighed with relief, "Maybe Karnu got to them?" Jafeth turned around and was a delivered a blow to the face, he fell to the ground and tried to fight back, the Blood Elf guard was too strong. "Where is Stormshine?" the two guards began to walk a circle round Jafeth, who was still on the floor. "Speak boy, we are not interested in you, save yourself and tell us where he is!". Jafeth slowly stood up, stumbling and holding his jaw. "Sorry, i don't know, he just asked me to run" Jafeth then shruged at the guards, leaving them confused and very much annoyed."Enough of this!" the guard shouted, the two of them went for Jafeth, the young elf prepared to defend himself but suddently the sound of an arrow went by, instantly killing one of the guards. The one remaining Blood Elf looked around and there stood Karnu himself armed with the bow aimed at the guard....
"Are you going to be a good elf and help me find your leader?" asked Karnu, smiling at the Blood Elf. The guard spat at Karnu "I will never betray Kalron". "Well that is honorable of you" Karnu released the arrow, pierced through the guards chest, killing him almost instantly. Karnu then dropped the bow to the ground. "I go alone boy, you did well" Jafeth nodded "It was an honour, are you sure you don't need my help?" Karnu turned to Jafeth nodded slowly "Il be fine, now disappear". The young elf sighed as he watched Karnu run once again through the forest.
Kalron was concerned, his guards had been gone a long time. "Those fools, must i do everything!" he stood and began to walk the path, limping as he walks, holding his injured leg. The dark dressed Blood Elf looking around, no sign of his guards anywhere. Kalron was struggling to venture on, not only did he receive injuries in a battle with Karnu, he had also been shot in the leg. He was no fool, he knew his guards had fallen, and a confrontation with Karnu was only too likely. But just how would he stand a chance with his injuries? Karnu has already shown how ruthless he can be, surely it is in favour of the ruthless Night Elf..
Moments later, Kalron came across a body of a Blood Elf, he sighed and closed his eyes, his fears have been confirmed, he was now alone, alone with a vengeful Night Elf.
"It seems i underestimated you once again, Stormshine" Kalron knew Karnu was with him and slowly turned around facing him. Karnu stood still, stared right through the Blood Elf as he continues to talk. "You honestly think i was going to stand by Delren?, no you see, like you i wanted that artifact" Karnu nodded at Kalron and this time he took out his gun and aimed towards the injured Kalron, again continued to talk "Even if you got the artifact it is no good without this!" Kalron showed a book with strange looking rune patterns on it. "The artifact is meaningless, this book is the key Karnu and you knew nothing of it!" Kalron grinned before saying "Even by killing me, you will never understand what is written in this book" Kalron threw the book to the ground. "You will never find him Karnu, even i know where he is heading, but indeed it amuses me the fact that you had the artifact, and you lost it because the truth is , your weak!" Kalron slowly reached for his dagger, as he smiled at Karnu, who was not at all amused by what Kalron was saying. "What is the matter Karnu?, quiet aren't we? have i exploited you for what you are?" ....
